Welcome to Shaishav Children’s Orthopedics
Expert in child’s bone problems
Focusing on pediatric orthopedic issues such as bone fractures, clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and hip disorders.
children are different.
Children are not mini adults. They hurt and heal differently and need different type of care.
Child Fracture Clinic
Many of the injuries in children can be treated without surgery. If you have been advised surgery by another orthopedic surgeon.
Led by Dr. Rohan Parwani
More then 10 years of experience in treating children’s fractures, clubfoot cerebral palsy and other childhood deformities.
Child-Friendly Environment
Our clinic is designed to make children feel safe and comfortable, with a warm and playful atmosphere that reduces anxiety.
Specialized Fracture Treatment for Children
Children’s fractures are not like adults'. Some heal quickly and naturally without surgery, while others require advanced surgical care. In some cases, improper or delayed treatment can lead to long-term deformities. What may seem like a “simple break” can affect future bone growth if not handled correctly.
At Shaishav, we understand these subtle — but critical — differences. Our team offers:
- Non-surgical treatment whenever safe and possible
- Surgery when necessary, using child-specific implants and techniques
- Growth plate (physis) preservation techniques
- Post-treatment monitoring to ensure healthy healing
- Second opinions for surgery advised elsewhere
“The same fracture in a 3-year-old and a 13-year-old needs a completely different approach. We treat accordingly — with precision and care.”
Care for Common and Complex Pediatric Foot Problems
From flat feet and toe-walking to more complex conditions like clubfoot and ankle deformities, children need specialized treatment tailored to their age and growth stage. Many of these issues can be corrected with physiotherapy, orthotic support, or casting, while some may require surgery.
At Shaishav, we provide:
- Ponseti method for clubfoot correction
- Customized braces and orthotics
- Surgical correction for persistent deformities
- Long-term follow-up to ensure healthy growth
“Every child’s feet are unique, and so is the way we treat them, with care designed to match their stage of growth.”
Restoring Function, Flexibility, and Confidence
Children may be born with congenital hand differences or experience trauma to the hand, wrist, or arm. These conditions can affect daily activities, confidence, and overall development if untreated.
Our team provides:
- Treatment for congenital hand deformities
- Care for fractures and tendon injuries
- Surgical correction for structural abnormalities
- Functional rehabilitation to restore movement
“Small hands need big attention, we focus on restoring function so your child can grow, play, and thrive.”
Supporting Movement and Independence
Children with cerebral palsy or neuromuscular conditions often face challenges in movement, coordination, and muscle control. With the right orthopedic care, many can achieve greater independence and comfort.
At Shaishav, we offer:
- Gait analysis and treatment planning
- Use of braces, orthotics, and physiotherapy
- Spasticity management and tendon release surgeries
- Comprehensive care focused on mobility and quality of life
“Every step forward matters, our goal is to maximize independence and confidence for every child.”
Protecting Healthy Hip Development
Hip disorders in children, such as developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) or Perthes disease, require early and accurate treatment to prevent lifelong complications.
Our care includes:
- Early diagnosis with ultrasound/X-rays
- Bracing and harness treatments for infants
- Surgical options when necessary
- Regular monitoring during growth
“Healthy hips in childhood lay the foundation for a lifetime of pain-free movement, we protect that future with expert care.”
Caring for Growing Knees
Knee issues are common in children, ranging from sports injuries to growth-related alignment problems like knock-knees or bow legs. Early treatment prevents future pain and deformity.
We provide:
- Treatment for ligament injuries and meniscus tears
- Non-surgical care for alignment concerns
- Surgical correction for severe deformities
- Sports medicine for active children and teens
“From playground tumbles to sports injuries, every knee tells a story, we make sure it heals the right way.”

What is Clubfoot?
Clubfoot (also called Congenital Talipes Equinovarus) is a condition where a baby’s foot is twisted inward or downward. It affects 1 in every 1,000 newborns and can occur in one or both feet.
With early diagnosis and the right treatment, children can lead completely normal, active lives.

Children’s bones and joints are still developing. Their injuries and conditions behave differently than in adults and need specialized knowledge and techniques. At Shaishav, we focus solely on pediatric orthopedics — ensuring your child receives age-appropriate, safe, and effective care.
Yes, especially when it comes to children. Many childhood fractures heal well without surgery. We offer second opinions to assess whether surgical intervention is truly necessary, and if so, ensure it’s done using child-specific, minimally invasive methods.
Clubfoot is a condition where a baby’s foot is twisted inward or downward at birth. At Shaishav, we use the globally trusted Ponseti Method — a non-surgical approach involving gentle casting, a minor procedure (tenotomy), and bracing. With early treatment, most children go on to walk normally.
Yes. While children heal quickly, incorrect or delayed treatment of a fracture — especially near growth plates — can lead to deformity, abnormal growth, or joint problems in the future. That’s why we emphasize proper diagnosis and timely care.
As early as possible. Ideally, within the first few weeks of life. Early treatment improves outcomes and may reduce the need for surgery later. However, treatment can still be successful in older children — we evaluate and customize the approach accordingly.
